A traditionally Australian style belt. Plaited by hand using the finest Kangaroo Leather available. Black and whiskey two tone plait. Featuring solid brass hardware. 32-34mm Wide.

The skin is first cut into one long strand, wider than what is needed. After this the lace is pre-stretched and thinned down to one consistent thickness, which is generally around 0.9mm. Once split, the lace will get resized to the desired width and finally the corners on the back side will be bevelled. The lace is now prepared and is able to be lightly lubricated with a plaiting soap that is made in the Burgmann workshop. It is only after this preparation that the belt gets plaited, creating a tight weave and cleanly finished belt.

The marked sizing is to the centre hole and all belt holes are 25mm apart. To find the best fit, on an old belt, measure from where the tongue meets the buckle, to the hole you are using. Alternatively, put on a pair of pants that fit well, and feed a soft tape measure through the belt loops to find the correct size. Please note: depending where your pants sit on your torso can affect the sizing.

Keep away from damp or humid areas and avoid direct exposure to sunlight and any heat source.
Avoid contact with harsh or oily substances such as; cosmetics perfumes and any alcoholic solutions.
keep away from water. If product gets wet, wipe excess water off with a light coloured, clean, absorbent and lint free cloth. Allow to dry naturally. Always test cloth on an inconspicuous area first to ensure no colourfastness. Do not apply heat to speed up drying process.
Do not use soaps or solvents to clean.
When not in use, store your belt in the dust bag provided.
